Relix Celebrates 50 Years of New Orleans Music & Culture (A Gallery)

Last week, Relix brought a new exhibit to the New Orleans Jazz Museum, featuring artwork, photos and more from last five decades of Jazz Fest as part of our 50 Years of New Orleans Music & Culture celebration, which continued at the museum this week with three consecutive days of conversations. The special events started Monday with Preservation Hall Jazz Band’s Ben Jaffe and writer/historian Walter Isaacson, continued on Tuesday with pianist Jon Cleary (plus a performance from Cha Wa) and wrapped up yesterday with The Meters bassist George Porter Jr. and Galactic drummer Stanton Moore.
Marc Millman, Dino Perruci and Curtis Knapp shared some photos from the three days of conversation. Also check out streams of all three conversations via the New Orleans Jazz Museum’s Facebook page.
