The Hangout Beach, Music & Arts Festival took place last weekend in Gulf Shores, AL. Performers included Widespread Panic, Paul Simon, The Black Keys, Flaming Lips, The Avett Brothers, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, Primus, Medeski, Martin & Wood, Xavier Rudd, Trombone Shorty and Umphrey’s McGee, all of whom appear in this photo essay by Rex Thomson
