Watch Paul McCartney Take Over ‘The Tonight Show’ to Celebrate New Album

Paul McCartney released his new album Egypt Station today (and will celebrate this evening with a secret show in New York), and the legendary Beatle stopped by The Tonight Show to perform one of the record’s tracks, but mostly to pal around with host Jimmy Fallon.
First off, last night’s cold open featured fellow guest Kendall Jenner dancing to McCartney’s cheeky new single “Fuh You,” with Fallon and McCartney himself eventually joining in. Later, Fallon and McCartney surprised a series of fan groups taking the 30 Rock elevator by appearing in front of them as the elevator doors opened to reveal the duo playing ping pong, lounging in smoking jackets, etc. The two then offered a duet of the Beatles classic “Drive My Car.”
McCartney eventually got around to performing Egypt Station‘s “Come On to Me” and also sat down with Fallon for a few of interview segments in which McCartney talked about modern-pop songwriting and The Beatles’ movement from singles to full albums, composed an impromptu angry song about Fallon and even called Fallon’s childhood phone number to leave a voicemail in response to a letter Fallon sent as a young kid (McCartney also more or less revealed through “hints” that tonight’s secret show will take place at NYC’s Grand Central Station).
