New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival 2019, Weekend One (A Gallery)
The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival is celebrating 50 years in 2019, once again gathering an incredible array of big-name artists, international acts and, of course, local NOLA and Louisiana musicians that give the Crescent City its iconic sound. (Not to mention the legendary food choices that Jazz Fest offers each week). The first of Jazz Fest’s two weekends this year featured headlining performances from Santana, Earth Wind & Fire, Van Morrison and Katy Perry, plus music from Alanis Morissette, The Revivalists, The Doobie Brothers, Amy Helm, Leon Bridges, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Foundation of Funk, Rebirth Brass Band, Taj Mahal, Irma Thomas, Deacon John, Al Green, Bonnie Raitt, The Head and the Heart, a Marsalis family tribute to Ellis Marsalis, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, Tab Benoit, Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Boyfriend, Better Than Ezra, Erica Falls, Naughty Professor and many, many more.
Marc Millman and Dino Perrucci shared a collection of photos from weekend one Jazz Fest 2019.
