Tedeschi Trucks Band’s Mike Mattison has started a Kickstarter campaign to raise money to help him finish record, mix and master his new, currently untitled blues album. Mattison promises new songs, select covers and contributions from musician friends such as fellow TTB members Kofi Burbridge and Tyler Greenwell, as well as Scrapomatic bandmates Paul Olsen and Dave Yoke. The campaign continues through August 16 and although Mattison has reached his goal, he has published an update encouraging folks to continue to contribute.

Now that recording expenses are secured, every additional dollar you pledge will go directly towards securing additional promotion and distribution for the album.
