On Mar. 3, Jon Fishman and Mike Gordon of Phish appeared at Vermont’s Champlain Valley Exposition Center to perform in support of Presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders.

Backed by The Mallett Brothers Band – a Maine-based outfit that Fishman has toured with in the past – the group opened with the rallying call of Creedence Clearwater Revival’s “Fortunate Son.”

Later, Gordon’s daughter Tessa Gordon took the stage to sing on “A Life That’s Good” and “Why Baby Why.” She would later return to provide vocals for Gordon’s original “Whirlwind” and Bob Dylan’s “Ring Them Bells.” The set concluded with another Gordon original, “Let’s Go.”

Maine-based rapper Spose (who had performed the day prior at another Sander rally with Fish and The Mallett Brothers) also sat in on vocals for “Off Road.”
