Dumpstaphunk Throws a Phunksgiving Party in New York (A Gallery)
Dumpstaphunk spent Thanksgiving in New York City with a show at B.B. King’s and did so with many of their friends as the band was joined by several special guests throughout the night. After a first set that was just Dumpstaphunk material with a horn section, the band returned for their 70s-themed set that included takes on Mandrill’s “Fencewalk,” James Gang’s “Funk #49” with Brandon Niederauer, Led Zeppelin’s “What Is And What Should Never Be” with Eric Krasno and a closing Sly and the Family Stone take on “Thank You,” among others. Dino Perrucci shared some photos from the show.
