Chick Corea brought his 75th birthday celebration at The Blue Note in New York City to an end with a star-studded run dubbed Return to Forever Meets Mahavishnu. Guests across the final week included former bandmates and collaborators John McLaughlin (who Corea played a duet set with that week as well), Victor Wooten, Lenny White, Bela Fleck, Kenny Garrett and Wallace Roney for a collaborative night of music honoring Corea’s past projects, as he has for the entirety of the residency at Blue Note.
