Dave Pasch was once again presented with the honor of calling a basketball game with Bill Walton and it went about as sideways as you could expect. This time, Walton broke out some props (a small globe and a grapefruit) to demonstrate the axial tilt of the Earth as a way to show Kyrie Irving that the earth is indeed round. 

“You know it’s a ten-point game,” Pasch interjected but that didn’t particularly matter. Walton was halfway to his point of showing how seasons develop before declaring that we’re in the season of “love and peace and happiness and joy” celebrating the winter solstice. 

“Can I eat this?,” Pasch asked about the grapefruit. “No, that’s the sun,” Walton said.
