Amon Tobin at the Warfield

October 25, 2011

Amon Tobin’s current ISAM tour is at the forefront of projected visuals technology during live music. The tour showcases a spectacular 25′×14′×8′ futuristic stacks of 3-D cubic art installation which serves as DJ booth and visual experience for the audience. Projection mapping uses the cube forms as much more than a screen — they turn the shapes into giant machines that pound and spin, or you watch as the cubes appear to melt away and shatter in sync to sounds from ISAM, Amon Tobin’s latest album. The crowd was in awe, and its clear that audiences are excited to see multi-sensory technology pushing further ahead. Isam tour has sold out most of its venues.
