Album Premiere: Tim O’Brien _Pompadour_

Tim O’Brien’s new solo record Pompadour, the follow-to to 2011’s The Crossing, is set for release on October 30. O’Brien explains, “It’s been four years since my last solo recording, but after various side projects with my family, with Darrell Scott, and with Hot Rize, I have one coming out October 30th. It’s called Pompadour and features six new originals, covers of songs by Woody Guthrie, James Brown, Michael Hurley, and Dan Reeder, plus a traditional fiddle tune.
