Album Premiere: Peter More ‘Beautiful Disrepair’

Singer-songwriter Peter More will release his debut album, Beautiful Disrepair, this Friday, August 24, and today we’re offering a sneak preview of the record, which was produced with Steely Dan co-founder Donald Fagen.
More, an Austin-based indie roots-rock artist, has toured with Fagen, Grace Potter, Leon Bridges and more, enlisted Fagen to produce the album and moved around quite a bit during the process, creating a finished product that bears the influence of multiple surroundings.
“Recording this album was my favorite project I’ve ever been a part of,” More tells Relix. “After being fortunate enough to meet Libby Titus and Donald Fagen down in Mexico, Donald began producing the album, and we traveled from Mexico to Texas to NYC, then back to Mexico and finished up in Woodstock, meeting and collaborating with amazing musicians and engineers along the way. Sonically, I think the album speaks to the peripatetic nature of the project, mixing different styles of writing and recording in different locations and studios. We hope everyone enjoys the music, and we couldn’t be more excited about it coming out.”
