Deer Tick Cover Lou Reed at Brooklyn Bowl (A Gallery)

January 1, 2015

Deer Tick’s tenth anniversary run at the Brooklyn Bowl featured the band playing a variety of classic albums in full along with their own material. On December 27, the band delivered Lou Reed’s seminal record Transformer. Decked out in leather jackets, Deer Tick (dubbed “Lou Deer”) rolled through cuts like “Perfect Day,” “Walk on the Wild Side” and “Satellite of Love” with the help of Sharon Van Etten, Ian Felice, Robert Ellis and Patrick Stickles. Andrew Scott Blackstein shared some photos from the show.
