Nugs Will Begin Streaming Dave Matthews Band Shows
Dave Matthews Band have announced that they will begin streaming official audio from every stop on their current summer tour, with each show arriving on nugs the day after it’s performed. The first concert to get the new streaming treatment will be the group’s June 23 stop in Shakopee, MN. Fans will also be able to catch up with select shows from the beginning of the summer outing, which have already been posted to nugs.
Members of the Dave Matthews Band Warehouse fan association will receive a complimentary three-month nugs trial, allowing them access to the service for the remainder of the group’s current run. According to the band, “Warehouse members will also be eligible for additional member-exclusive offers and incentives in the future.”
“At nugs, we’ve always believed that live music is about more than a single night. It’s about following the journey of a tour and hearing how the music evolves from show to show,” Brad Serling, founder and CEO of nugs, said in a stattmment. “Dave Matthews Band has one of the most passionate fan communities in music, and we’re thrilled to welcome them to nugs. By making audio from every show available the day after it’s played, we’re giving fans a new way to stay connected to the tour and revisit the performances that make each night unique.”
Subscribers can stream from nugs across the web, iOS, Android, Sonos, CarPlay, Android Auto, Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Google TV, Android TV devices, BluOS and Roon.
In recent years, Dave Matthews Band have been changing up their setlists more regularly, bringing back oft-overlooked tunes and peppering their shows with teases and fakeouts. While the ensemble had long welcomed a mix of guests, this year they have been showcasing different fiddle players at many stops.
Dave Matthews Band’s summer tour will resume at Shakopee, MN’s Mystic Lake Ampitheater
