Joe Bonamassa has shared that he will be hitting the road for a short run of U.S. dates this summer, followed by an expansive 26-date tour this fall. The announcement comes on the heels of the blues-rock guitarist’s latest live concert film and album, Tales Of Time, which was released on April 14. The impending set of tours will take Bonamassa from coast-to-coast, with dates beginning in late May and wrapping in early December.
The guitarist will kick off his summer run on May 26 with a show at the Capitol Theatre in Yakima, Wash., on May 27 and 28. Bonassama then will link up with blues-rock artist Kenny Shepard for back-to-back appearances at the Backroads Blues Festival in Bend, Ore., and Woodinville, Wash. Following those performances, he will take a short break from the road before picking back up on Aug. 2 with an appearance at the Vina Robles Amphitheatre in Paso Robles, Calif., followed by an Aug. 4 set in Las Vegas.
On Aug. 5, Bonamassa will stop by Salt Lake City, Utah, for a one-night stand at the Eccles Theater before heading to Morrison, Colo., for an Aug. 6 set at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Then, on Aug. 9, he will make his venue debut at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. The special single-night event will feature orchestral support and will be recorded for Bonamassa’s live concert film. Finally, he will team up with the legendary rock band Styx and former Eagles guitarist Don Felder for two nights in New York on Aug. 12 and 13.
Bonamassa’s official fall tour will begin on Oct. 23, with a show at the Cannon Center in Memphis, Tenn. From the end of October and into November, he will make his way across the South, Midwest, and East Coast. Notable stops will include a Nov. 11 set at The Fabulous Fox in St. Louis, Mo., as well as a Nov. 25 appearance at The Lyric in Baltimore, Md. Bonamassa’s final show will take place on Dec. 2 at the Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, Fla.
Tickets for Bonamassa’s first round of summer shows, as well as his Dec. 1 and 2 shows in Estero, Fla. and Hollywood, Fla., are available now here. A special artist presale for the U.S. fall tour will begin on Tuesday, April 25, at 10 a.m. local time. General on-sale will follow on his website, starting Friday, April 28, at 10 a.m. local time.
