Dead & Company at The Hollywood Bowl (A Gallery)
Dead & Company returned to the Hollywood Bowl for Halloween weekend, performing three shows for a SoCal crowd.
Dead & Company started their Halloween gig with traditional “Samson and Delilah” before diving into “Uncle John’s Band” > “Brown-Eyed Women,” then “Touch of Grey” before playing spooky staples “Dire Wolf” and “Hell in a Bucket.”
Notably, Rhythm Devil Bill Kretuzmann didn’t finish out the run, tapping in Jay Lane on night three and telling fans, “I wasn’t feeling well & the show must go on. I returned to the road a little too soon & I need more rest, so I’ll be back full steam ahead to jam with you in Mexico. I can’t wait.”
