On Friday evening, two bona fide headliners, Niger’s breakthrough Afro-psych outfit, Mdou Moctar and New York City’s Parquet Courts made an appearance at Milwaukee’s Turner Hall Ballroom for a sold-out show. Both bands brought palpable energy, pleasing both old fans and new. This is a must catch duo in 2022. Mdou Moctour will be heading to Europe in April. Parquet Courts is touring extensively across the US and then in Europe this Spring and Summer.
