SoCal experimental-music elder Vinny Golia has released more than 20 hours of mind-bending audio from his dauntingly ambitious Even to This Day project, and he’s still only two-thirds of the way through it. The woodwindist-composer’s 110-track Movement Two: Syncretism: For the Draw… (Ninewinds) embeds electronic improvisers and rockers (notably guitarists Alkis Nicolaides, Nels Cline and Henry Kaiser) with a formidable orchestra navigating dazzling textures and sublimely fractured settings of overall galactic proportions.
