From the heart-shattering anthemic depth of “Run My Heart” to the swelling ambience of “Golden Light,” Lewis builds compelling songs that are based equally around expansive ethereal landscapes and carefully knit melodies. Mood is the driving element throughout all of the tracks, even as they veer in tone and tempo,and Lewis somehow makes each piece of each song integral to its experience.
