Widespread Panic have announced its impending return to the Riverside Theater in Milwaukee, Wis. The band posted to social media, sharing that they will perform at the Midwest location over three nights, Oct. 24-26. The newly added dates fill out part of the band’s fall schedule; their Badger State gigs will occur after participation in their already-announced Mempho Music Festival appearances, Oct. 3 and 4.
The band’s arrival at the Riverside Theater continues their extensive history performing in the region, which extends back to their first-ever Milwaukee appearance in 2006. According to panicstreams.com, the group has made an active effort to return to the area, delivering 35 gigs at Riverside and making it a destination event for Panic fans near and far.
Before the band’s newly added concerts in Milwaukee, they will spend parts of their summer on the road, including three nights at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colo., June 27-29. Their next spurt of live performances will land on July 24-26, taking them to the ExploreAsheville.com Arena at Harrah’s Cherokee Center in Asheville, N.C.
Widespread Panic has signed on for two runs in August, including the 8th-9th on Indianapolis’ Everwise Amphitheater at White River State Park stage, before returning to their live regimen later in the month, August 21-23, at Boston’s MGM Music Hall at Fenway Park. On Sept. 12-13, the group will bring their talents to Allianz Amphitheater at Riverfront in Richmond, Va., which preludes the aforementioned Mempho Fest sets and the onset of fall concerts.
Tickets for Widespread Panic’s Riverside arrival go on sale this Friday, June 13, at 10 a.m.
