Bobby Weir has announced the date and location of his impending live performance with Wolf Bros. After concluding his Sphere commitment on May 17, the musician will take a break from the stage before returning on June 21, 2025, for a performance at the historic Royal Albert Hall in London, featuring The Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra.
According to local reports, Weir’s arrival across the pond marks his first London performance in over two decades. The musician last played in the region on August 22, 2003, during a Ratdog appearance at the London Astoria that opened with “The Music Never Stopped.”
Joining Weir are his Wolf Bros. bandmates, bassist Don Was, pianist Jeff Chimenti and percussionist Jay Lane. During the London one-off, the ensemble and a 68-piece orchestra will perform grandiose renditions of Grateful Dead material, harkening to previous performances with the National Symphony Orchestra in Washington, D.C., and beyond.
