Dead & Company continued to bolster their live repertoire with a cover of The Band’s “The Weight” during their second set last night in Charlotte.
The performance marked the first cover of The Band in the group’s history and surely not the last, as the tune showcased the vocal abilities of each of the band members as Weir, John Mayer, Jeff Chimenti and Oteil Burbridge all took a verse.
