Watch The Black Crowes Reunite on ‘The Howard Stern Show’

“We’re announcing that The Black Crowes are together, and that we’re going on tour next summer and we’re playing the Bowery Ballroom tonight,” Chris Robinson said live on Sirius XM’s The Howard Stern Show on Nov. 11.

“This is a miracle!” Howard Stern quickly countered with a grin.

Indeed, these summer shows – originally revealed via electronic billboard in NYC this past weekend – will mark the first Black Crowes shows in over five years, and seemingly bury the hatchet between the two brothers/co-founders Rich and Chris Robinson.

“You hadn’t talked in over six years… you can’t stand to be in a room together and here you are sitting in my studio,” Stern tells the brothers.

“A lot have things have changed for me in the last two years,” Chris explains. “I was in a relationship that was failing, I was in a negative place. You make some big changes in your life.”

Later, Rich Robinson explains that he was “fed up with the fighting,” adding, “It was unhealthy.”

Rich is also quick to mention that while he was playing Black Crowes songs with The Magpie Salute, he still missed being onstage with Chris.

“No matter what it is, there’s that half of me that was missing… It was obvious there was a glaring omission, which was my brother,” he says gesturing toward Chris.

Tickets for The Black Crowes summer tour are currently on sale.

Relix is also giving away two tickets to the band’s Bowery Ballroom show via Facebook. Click here for more details.
