Watch: Phoebe Bridgers Shares Inside Glimpse of Life on the Road in “Sidelines” Video

Today, Phoebe Bridgers released the music video for her song “Sidelines” taking fans on a trip backstage through behind-the-scenes clips of her Reunion Tour. The song was made for Hulu’s new series, Conversations With Friends, which is based on one of Sally Rooney’s more popular novels of the same name.
Bridgers’ fan base, also known as the Pharbz, and Rooney fans alike have relished in the crossover that “Sidelines” facilitated with its appearance in and promotion of Conversations With Friends when Bridgers initially released the song along with a collection of clips of the series in May.
The new video, shot by Bridgers’ younger brother Jackson, offers a mosaic ranging from close-ups of onstage concert footage to off-stage bonfires, hammocking, and an array of other adventures Bridgers and her crew have embarked on during their time on the road; offering a new and genuine look at the sidelines of her life on tour, and giving the song new meaning.
Bridgers is currently on the North American leg of her Reunion Tour and will perform tonight at The Waiting Room in Omaha, Neb. She will continue to perform in the United States until June 16 after which she’ll head to Europe for a string of shows. She is scheduled to return to North America on Aug. 5 and will perform through Aug. 28 with her final show in Los Angeles.
Conversations With Friends is currently available to watch on Hulu.
