Umphrey’s McGee Reveals _Hall of Fame 2012_ Tracklist

September 27, 2013

Umphrey’s McGee always has a way of creatively releasing information. For their Hall of Fame 2012 album, the band rolled out a series of bundle options, featuring hand-drawn art from each band member to allowing two fans the option to be on the guest list for an entire year. Today, they released the much anticipated track list for HOF 2012, and the selections will impress. The highly regarded New Year’s run at The Tabernacle in Atlanta, GA (the band’s first four night NYE run) is the proud owner of three selections, with “Higgins” and “Slacker” joining the fiery 12/30 second set opener of “Bright Lights, Big City” which featured a Preamble intro as well as a “Cocaine” jam.

Inductees from early 2012 include a show opener “Wappy Sprayberry” from a private Bill Graham Show in Chicago last April, as well as “JaJunk” from Missoula, MT which features a jam worthy of a desk flip. The first guest appearance on a Hall of Fame album comes in the form of the 9/22 “Got Your Milk (Right Here)” with Disco Biscuits/Conspirator keyboardist Aron Magner joining the band for an energetic first set close. Check out the full tracklist below, and be sure to pledge and get yourself what is sure to be the best UM release of the year. HOF 2012 drops October 3rd.
