Umphrey’s McGee Announce Deep Dive Destination Event with Andy Frasco & The U.N., The New Deal and More
Umphrey’s McGee will take their high-flying fusion abroad next year with Deep Dive, a new destination festival. Staging at the Moon Palace Cancún Resort in Riviera Maya, Mexico – home to beloved signature events from Phish and Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds – from April 30 to May 3, the progressive jam outfit’s next adventure will unite their peers and fans for four days of live music within a lavish all-inclusive environment.
Alongside the two-set shows from Umphrey’s McGee at the heart of Deep Dive, attendees will be treated to a special acoustic singalong from the host band and rare engagements from their offshoot outfits Omega Moos and Death Kings, the latter performing for the first time in over a year. UM’s various onstage configurations will be presented around two sets from Andy Frasco & The U.N. and two from The New Deal, featuring new Umphrey’s drummer Scotty Zwang, as well as other special guests Jennifer Hartswick, Natalie Cressman and Nick Gerlach.
Away from the main stage, fans can enjoy intimate poolside sets from Jake Cinninger, Joel Cummins and Andy “DJ Sanhouri” Farag, plus late-night entertainment from scene-favorite selector DJ Airwolf. A litany of other non-musical activities scheduled includes Mexican BBQ with Farag, guacamole and mezcal tasting with Zwang, morning yoga, an Umphrey’s Feud live game show hosted by Frasco and Gerlach and more.
Deep Dive continues a long tradition of destination events from Umphrey’s McGee, most recently including the band’s 2025 Morockshow getaway. Tickets will go on sale next Wednesday, Nov. 5, at 1 p.m. ET. Find more information at deepdiveumphreysmcgee.com.
