The Brooklyn Bowl Nashville Announces ‘The Jerry Dance Party,’ Following Phish at Ascend Amphitheater

On Aug. 4, the Brooklyn Bowl Nashville will host The Jerry Dance Party, an immersive celebration of all things Jerry Garcia.

Fortuitously, this event will also align with Phish’s Aug. 3-4 appearance at Nashville’s Ascend Amphitheater.

The Jerry Dance Party combines a unique light show with a sonic showcase of Garcia’s career, with live cuts by Grateful Dead as well as Old & In The Way, Jerry Garcia Band, Merl Saunders, John Kahn, New Riders of the Purple Sage and many more.

“We’re bringing Garcia’s entire career to the dance floor, for three-plus hours of the most ripping, psychedelic live tracks,” says DJ JerrBrother. “Undoubtedly, at every Jerry Dance Party, people come up to me and ask, ‘What show was that from?’ ‘What year is this song from?’.. I’ve combed through hours of live Garcia tracks to find the best of the best. We leave people with a renewed sense of exploration and love for the guy who brought it every night, Garcia.”

These shows have been added to the Jerry Dance Party’s existing schedule, which includes an Aug. 13-15 run in Atlantic City and a pair of 2022 stops in Colorado.
