At Levon Helm Studios, the immortal memory of The Band’s drummer and his intimate musical celebrations endure with The Helm Family Midnight Rambles, a spiritual successor and tribute to the artist’s famed gatherings. Every few months, Amy Helm takes the storied stage to lead her family band through treatments of The Band’s timeless catalog, with guest stars regularly joining in the festive testament. This summer, the venue will marry that musical legacy with another institution through the first annual Sun Records Midnight Ramble.

On Aug. 1 and 2, The Helm Family Midnight Rambles will spotlight the seven-decade story of Sun Records through the voices of its current signees. Helm and company will welcome support from sacred steel shredder Robert Randolph, Grammy-winning blues and folk singer-songwriter Ruthie Foster and Duane Betts, distinguished Southern rock guitarist and bandleader and heir to another rock dynasty with The Allman Betts Band.
