Willie Nelson has expanded his roaming Outlaw Music Festival Tour. The 91-year-old music icon will lead an all-star ensemble to two newly announced stops this summer, including the July 1, 2025 arrival at Lucky Star Amphitheater in El Reno, Okla., with support from Bob Dylan, The Mavericks and Tami Neilson, which marks the festival’s inaugural concert at this location. 

The other newly added date, Nelson and company’s Sept. 18 return to Ruoff Music Center in Noblesville, Ind., has also been added to the schedule of live shows. The festival’s venue arrival is the first after a six-year locational performance gap. It is billed to include artists such as Dylan, Sheryl Crow, Waxahatchee, and Madeline Edwards. 

The Outlaw Music Festival Tour boasts a rotating lineup of musicians and top acts who will perform under the festival umbrella when 2025 dates launch on May 13 at Phoenix’s Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre, with support from Dylan, Billy Strings, Sierra Hull, and Lily Melo. In addition to the aforementioned names, Bruce Hornsby & The Noisemakers, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Trampled by Turtles, Wilco, Lucinda Williams, Waylon Payne and others will participate in select stops. 

Now in its 10th year, the annual traveling event has become a summer staple in addition to Nelson’s other seasonal offering, the Fourth of July Picnic at Austin, Texas’ Germania Insurance Arena. The Independence Day gathering will feature songs from the host and his family band, Dylan, The Avett Brothers, The Mavericks, Asleep at the Wheel and Tami Nelson. Read more.
