Relix Premieres Jack Wilson’s “Masterplan”
On June 18 Fluff and Gravy Records will release Spare Key the new album from Jack Wilson. This is the follow-up to Wilson’s 2012 eponymous recording and already has been described as “‘70s-influenced country-rock and folk reminiscent of Neil Young and The Band.” The first single from Spare Key is “Masterplan.” Here is what Wilson has to say about the song: “Some folks have it figured out. They go to high school, and get into college, and finish in 4 years, and go on to some sweet gig, or a graduate school and get married and have two kids. Those moments of doubt and fear come to them, like to all of us, but can be shrugged off, eyes on the prize. I never had that skill set. Each of the eventualities that my mind could conjure would need the same scrutiny, and care deliberation before passing.”
