Premiere: Gov’t Mule “Whisper In Your Soul” (and Second Version with Grace Potter)

The forthcoming studio album from Gov’t Mule adds an interesting twist. Shout!, which will be released by Blue Note on September 24, presents 11 original songs from the group. In addition, a special bonus CD will offer a second version of the 11 tracks, each of which will be sung by a special guest. Elvis Costello, Dave Matthews, Steve Winwood, Dr. John and Jim James are among the singers who will appear on the bonus disc. Today we premiere two versions of “Whisper In Your Soul,” the Gov’t Mule original and the version with Grace Potter.
