Phish Play First “End of Session” Since 2017 for Eugene Closer

Phish wrapped up their two-night stint in Eugene, Ore. on Oct. 20, playing two full sets and even dusting off Story of the Ghost cut “End of Session.”

The bustout arrived near the end of Phish’s first half. The started off strong with a “Mr. Completely” opener, followed by a “Energy”> “Timber.”

Set one was also dotted by some extended fan favorites i.e. “Divided Sky” and “Split Open and Melt.” The latter bled into the first “End of Session” since 7/25/17 (show gap: 126).

The first half then closed with a rocking “Split Open and Melt.”

After setbreak, Phish re-calibrated with the always-fun “AC/DC Bad” and kept the jam going through “Ruby Waves”> “Lonely Trip”> “Golden Age”> “Backwards Down The Number Line.”

They encored with the old-meets-new pairing of “Wilson” and “Say It To Me S.A.N.T.O.S.”

Phish’s fall tour will continue on Oct. 22 for a single show in Phoenix, Ariz.
