Phish Confirm 2021 Summer Tour Dates, Announce Additional Fall Shows

Phish has announced a combined Summer-Fall 2021 tour. Despite radio silence for some time, the band has confirmed that they will play a series of shows this summer, with many of them mirroring the shows that were initially rescheduled in May of 2020 due to COVID-19.

The new dates will begin with Phish’s Arkansas outing on July 28, and stretch through their originally scheduled Labor Day Run at Colorado’s Dick’s Sporting Goods Park. To accommodate ticketholders, a band’s mid-July dates have also been shifted to later in the summer. The band will head to The Gorge on Aug. 27-29 rather than July 16-18 and will head to Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena at Harveys in Nevada on Aug. 31 and Sept. 1 rather than July 20-21.

Other changes to the tour include the cancelations of shows at Hershey, Pa.’s Giant Center and Atlanta’s Piedmont Park. The band stated that ticket buyers would be contacted directly about refunds. In their place, the band will perform in Alpharetta, Ga. at the Ameris Bank Amphitheatre on July 31 and Aug. 1. As for Pennsylvania, Phish will still head to Hershey but will instead perform at the outdoor Hersheypark Stadium instead of the indoors Giant Center.

After the Labor Day Dick’s run, the band will embark on a west-coast heavy Fall tour that will see their first show in Arizona since 2003, set for Oct. 22 Ak-Chin Pavilion in Phoenix. In addition, the band will return to Sacramento, Calif. for the first time since 1996 with an Oct. 15 show at the Golden 1 Center. The fall run will culminate with a four-night Halloween stand at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Oct. 28-31.

In addition to the newly added shows, Phish also rescheduled West Coast shows originally in July for the fall, including stands at the Matthew Knight Arena in Eugene, Ore. and the Chase Center in San Francisco.

“At long last, through this unusual and ever-changing landscape, we are excited to announce a combined Summer + Fall 2021 tour. Thanks for your patience!” wrote the band when announcing the shows.

“For most of the shows that are not newly announced, a limited quantity of tickets are available now at https://phishrealtime.shop.ticketstoday.com/ as a real-time sale (while supplies last), as well as at public outlets such as Ticketmaster,” continued the announcement. “A limited number of Travel Packages have been released for George, Lake Tahoe, and Commerce City show dates. In Atlantic City, Foundation Tickets as well as Travel Packages are now available [HERE].”

Tickets will carry over for those shows that were rescheduled from 2020. Refunds are also available: “If you have purchased tickets from an authorized sales channel (Ticketmaster, Phish Tickets, CID or venue websites), you will have until June 10, 2021 to request a full refund if you cannot attend the new date(s). These ticketing partners will be contacting all buyers shortly with further instructions.”

A ticket request period for the newly announced shows is currently underway here. It will end on Monday, May 17. Tickets go on sale to the public on May 20 at 10 a.m. ET.

In May 2020, the band broke the news that their summer tour plans would be pushed a full calendar year, writing, “Due to the ongoing pandemic, we sadly have made the difficult decision to reschedule Phish’s entire 2020 summer tour, now moving to the summer of 2021. We’ve been as excited as ever to play music for you all, and are so heartbroken to postpone these dates. The health and well-being of Phish fans, our touring crew, and the communities in which the band plays is our top concern.”
