Oteil & Friends Share East Coast and Midwest Tour Dates

Today, beloved bassist Oteil Burbridge has announced a new series of live dates that will take him and his self-titled project on the road this spring and into the summer. According to the ensemble’s live roster, their schedule picks up over two nights at the Ardmore Music Hall on May 9-10, and will continue at select East Coast destinations following their Pennsylvania kick-off.
After the initial concerts, Burbridge, who will be joined on the road by Melvin Seals, Steve Kimock, Jason Crosby, Johnny Kimock, Tom Guarna, and Lamar Williams Jr., will continue to their second location, Nevermore Hall in Baltimore, for an appearance on May 12, before a two-night follow-up at New York’s Brooklyn Bowl on May 13 and 14.
The group, known for its adaptations of the Jerry Garcia Band songbook and its affinity for the Allman Brothers [given the bandleader’s history], will play at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, N.Y., on May 15, before their arrival at Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Conn., on May 16. The finale in their East Coast concert series will take place on May 17 at the Royale in Boston.
On May 28, the ensemble will resume its touring schedule with a performance at Iroquois Amphitheater in Louisville, Ky. The aforementioned date marks the start of a Midwest leg, with concerts in St. Louis (May 29), Chicago (May 30), and Milwaukee, Wis. (May 31). As spring turns to summer, the group will participate in two festival dates: July 25 at Gratefulfest and JamPacked on August 1.
