This Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2025, Relix will celebrate its golden anniversary at New York’s Brooklyn Bowl with Taper’s Choice, leading Friends and Casual Acquaintances in a not-to-be-missed super jam. The concert will be livestreamed via nugs.net, with a portion of proceeds going to LA wildfire victims.
Signing on to assist in the night’s musical delivery are Taper’s members: Vampire Weekend’s Chris Tomson, Real Estate’s Alex Bleeker, DARKSIDE’s Dave Harrington, and Arc Iris’ Zach Tenorio-Miller, who will be joined by a cast of notable guest artists, including Mike Gordon, Mikaela Davis, Scott Metzger, Jordan McLean, Stuart Bogie, Karina Rykman, Jake Brownstein, Tom Hamilton, Tom Constanten, DJead Night, Eric Slick, Robert Walter and Ryan Miller.
The occasion comes as Relix commemorates 50 years of content and commentary on live music, its effervescent community of followers and industry elites. With roots in the Grateful Dead tape-trading community, Relix continues to be a source for fans and musicians to seek the latest news that promotes conversations and keeps folks talking; from the parking lot to into the show, the music never stops.
