Musician Alex Bleeker (Real Estate) and travel journalist Luke Pyenson (formerly of Frankie Cosmos) have announced their intent to inspect the one-of-a-kind relationship between touring artists and food in a new book, Taste in Music: Eating on Tour with Indie Musicians, due on September 24 via Chronicle Books.

Using the authors’ unique perspectives, the pair will guide the reader through 20 years of music industry experience, using their tales of meals past to evoke a larger conversation on humankind. On the pages, readers will encounter familiar voices from the indie music world, delving into their own stories as they pertain to the intersection between food and life on the road.
