Leave and Item, Take an Item: Terrapin Roadshow Details Sustainable Swap Ahead of Monte Rio Amphitheater Concerts

On May 30-31, the Grahame Lesh-led Terrapin Roadshow will arrive at Monte Rio Amphitheater in Monte Rio, Calif. The shows represent the first in a series of live appearances that will run through mid-August as a tribute to the music, energy and spirit of Phil Lesh’s former Terrapin Crossroads venue. In preparation for the shows, the Terrapin Roadshow will host a sustainable swap and encourage fans to leave an item and take one.

According to details, the sustainable swap coincides with the aforementioned Monte Rio, Calif., concerts on Saturday, May 30, and Sunday, May 31. In the post, the eco-friendly exchange is labeled “a good ol’ sustainable swap at the Fat Tire tent all weekend long, so bring an item, take an item, and come share a beer with us. We’ll be loaded with vintage items from Terrapin, Patagonia, New Belgium, and more.”

Interested parties can take part in the “One man gathers what another man spills” exchange before the music picks up. During the forthcoming show, Grahame Lesh will perform alongside Jackie Greene, Dan “Lebo” Lebowitz, Jeremy Hoenig, Mookie Siegel, Elliott Peck, Brian Switzer, Adam Theis, Alex Kelly, Sheldon Brown and Mads Tolling.

After submitting their Monte Rio Amphitheater run, Terrapin Roadshow will bring its revival of Grateful Dead music to Forest Meadows Amphitheatre in San Rafael, Calif. (July 24-26). A group of chosen players will then arrive at the Marjorie Holzgang Concert Bowl in Grants Pass, Ore. (August 1-2), before follow-ups in Truckee, Calif. (August 15-16) and Glenwood Springs, Colo. (August 22-23).
