Joe Russo’s Almost Dead rang in Juneteenth/Father’s Day weekend at the newly minted Westville Music Bowl from June 18-20 with plenty of fanfare.
The band’s six-set outing included plenty of Grateful Dead tunes – among other covers – and even some Sunday night guests, including Katie Jacoby and members of the extended Antibalas brass section: Stuart Bogie, Jordan Maclane, Ray Mason, Cochema, and John Altieri.
