Organizers of the seafaring event Jam Cruise have revealed that the beloved live music event will not be taking place in 2022, but rather 2023.

“We want you to know that we have exhausted every effort, but there still remains so much uncertainty on getting cruise ships back in the water in the U.S. – let alone at full capacity with top-notch concerts onboard,” reads a social media announcement. “Unfortunately the cruise industry isn’t progressing on a timeline that supports our collective ability to properly plan and get behind a January 2022 sailing. So, we’ve made the difficult decision to wait this out until early 2023 when we are confident we can deliver the experience we all deserve.”

The most recent Jam Cruise took place from Jan. 7-12, 2020 and featured acts like The Claypool Lennon Delirium, Les Claypool’s Bastard Jazz, moe., Galactic, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe and more. Between live sets, fans were whisked from Miami to Ocean Cay, Bahamas to Costa Maya, Mexico and back.

Jam Cruise is thrown by Cloud 9 Adventures, who help put on other beloved destination events like Panic En La Playa, Strings & Sol, One Big Holiday and more.
