Jackson Browne, Jorma Kaukonen, Amy Helm and More Tapped for ‘The Capitol Sessions’ Benefit for HeadCount

On Dec. 17, an all-star lineup of musicians will descend upon The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY for The Capitol Sessions, a gathering to benefit voter registration non-profit HeadCount.

The roster includes Jackson Browne, Jorma Kaukonen, Larry Campbell and Teresa Williams, Adam Minkoff, Amy Helm, Connor Kennedy, Eric Krasno, Grahame Lesh, James Casey, Karina Rykman, Lisa Fischer, Marco Benevento, Tony Leone, and The War & Treaty.

As venue owner/HeadCount board member Peter Shapiro explains to Variety, “The Capitol Theatre is one of rock ‘n’ roll’s last remaining rock palaces. A place where many of rock’s most beloved legends performed — the Rolling Stones, the Grateful Dead, David Bowie, Janis Joplin, to name a few. We can’t wait to celebrate the iconic songs that have been played over the years at The Cap. It will be very cool for The Capitol Sessions to happen on the same stage where these songs were originally performed. It’s going to be an epic night!”

Tickets go on sale Friday, Nov. 19 at 12 Noon ET.
