Grahame Lesh to Reunite The Q for Night Four of Unbroken Chain: A Celebration of the Life and Music of Phil Lesh, with Warren Haynes, Jimmy Herring, Rob Barraco and John Molo

For weeks now, anticipation has been mounting for Unbroken Chain: A Celebration of the Life and Music of Phil Lesh, which will honor the late Grateful Dead bassist by continuing his legacy of birthday residencies at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, N.Y. Today, host and torchbearer Grahame Lesh has raised the stakes even further with the announcement of a fourth performance alongside the legendary members of The Q. On Monday, March 17, the younger Lesh will close out the series alongside his father’s longtime collaborators Warren Haynes, Jimmy Herring, Rob Barraco and John Molo, properly enshrining a pivotal moment in Lesh’s long and winding career.

“This is the one I was hoping would come together when we started planning this celebration,” Lesh shared in a post to his social channels. “On Monday, March 17, I am so thrilled to bring together some of my favorite people and musicians ever – the members of the PLQ – to join me at the final night of Unbroken Chain: A Celebration of the Life and Music of Phil Lesh. Warren, Jimmy, Rob, & Molo, together with my dad in the Phil Lesh Quintet edition of Phil & Friends, are probably my favorite band ever, and I am honored to bring them together to celebrate my dad.”

Grahame’s latest dispatch is the second continuation of the series, marking what would have been Phil’s 85th birthday, which will now run for four nights from March 14-17. The new additions to the lineup arrive alongside an all-star cast of Phil Lesh & Friends alumni already set to perform, including Oteil Burbridge, Rick Mitarotonda, Jason Crosby, Eric Krasno and Jennifer Hartswick on nights one and two and Jackie Greene, Larry Campbell, Steve Molitz and Teresa Williams on night three. Molo will provide percussion at every performance.

Proceeds from every show in Unbroken Chain will go to benefit Undue Medical Debt and MusiCares. Tickets will go on sale this Friday, Feb. 14 at 10 a.m. ET. For more information, visit thecapitoltheatre.com.
