New names have been added to Grahame Lesh & Friends’ Busted Down on Bourbon Street lineup. The two-night event, which begins this evening, April 28, and concludes tomorrow, April 29, with a final conjuring of songs and Grateful Dead spirit, will now include John Kadlecik (Tuesday) and Tony Hall (Wednesday). The concerts will take place at the Joy Theater in New Orleans, and fall amid Jazz Fest weekends.

The Busted Down on Bourbon Street concerts are led by Grahame Lesh, son of Grateful Dead bassist and founding member Phil Lesh. Tonight’s performance is billed to feature support from Daniel Donato, Oteil Burbridge, John Molo, Aron Magner, Kanika Moore, Preservation Hall horns, along with special guest Little Feat’s Bill Payne and newly added player, Kadlecik.

The next night, Wednesday, April 29, will bring recurring participants Daniel Donato, John Molo, and Kanika Moore, along with the Preservation Hall horns, back to the Big Easy stage. Newcomers for the bill include the likes of Eggy’s Jake Brownstein, Cory Henry, Ivan Neville, and late-game addition, Hall.
