Father John Misty and The Head and The Heart Announce Co-Headlining Summer Tour

Today, Father John Misty and The Head and The Heart announced they’ll set out on a co-headlining summer tour. The tour will see the American musician, singer, songwriter, and record producer and the American indie folk ensemble perform at theaters and amphitheaters around the North Western Coast and heart of North America.
Father John Misty and The Head and The Heart will kick their joint musical celebrations off at a venue that’s yet to be announced in Salt Lake City on Aug. 4. They will then head to the Big Sky Brewing Company Amphitheater in Missoula, Mont., on Aug 5, before going further west to Spokane, Wash., for a performance at Pavilion at Riverfront on Aug. 6. The two beloved outfits will then head to Canada for a performance in Vancouver on Aug. 8 before rolling down the coast with performances in Bend, Ore. on Aug. 9, and Santa Barbara, Calif., on Aug. 13. It’s notable between the two performances Father John Misty will perform solo at the Woodland Park Zoo Amphitheater in Seattle on Aug. 10.
The two units will then head to Colorado for a two-night stint at the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater in Vail, Colo., on Aug. 15 and 16. After stops in the heartlands, the tour will come to a close in Madison, Wis., at The Sylvee with a two-night stint on Aug. 21 and 22. On select dates, the tour will feature support from Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter based in Los Angeles, Miya Folick. See the full dates below.
Fan presales begin Wednesday, Feb. 22nd at 10 a.m. local time and run through Thursday, Feb. 23 at 10 p.m. local time, with tickets on sale to the general public on Friday, Feb. 24th at 10 a.m. local time. Tickets for Father John Misty’s solo show in Seattle will go on sale Friday, March 3, featuring direct support from Sub Pop labelmates Shabazz Palaces.
