On Friday night, The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, N.Y., set the stage for Joe Bonamassa, who turned up to celebrate the blues at the iconic Empire State venue. Photographer Dino Perrucci attended the concert and captured night one of two on the venerable stage. Scroll down to view more.

Much like night one’s setlist, Saturday’s main frame continued Bonamassa’s approach to paying tribute to other genre greats, pulling covers from a range of archives that touched on material that was initially performed by B.B. King (“You Upset Me Baby”), Bobby Blue Bland (“Twenty-Four Hour Blues”), Guitar Slim (“Well, I Done Got Over It”), Ann Peebles (“I Feel Like Breaking Up Somebody’s Home Tonight”) and more.

Apart from covers, Bonamassa staggered this Aug. 24 setlist with originals, which pulled from his own lauded discography, including Blues Deluxe Vol. 2 (“Hope You Realize It (Goodbye Again),” “Is It Safe to Go Home”), Redemption (“Self-Inflicted Wounds”), So It’s Like That (“Mountain Time”) and Time Clocks (“The Heart That Never Waits”).

Continuing regional tour stops, Bonamassa will bring his Blues Deluxe run to the Palace Theatre in Albany, N.Y., next. Tickets remain on sale. Scroll down to view shots from the referred guitarist’s first of two nights on the history stage.
