Brooklyn Bowl Announces Plan for Washington D.C. Location in Buzzard Point Neighborhood

Live Nation and Brooklyn Bowl have announced their plans to open a new Brooklyn Bowl location at Parcel B at Audi Field in the Buzzard Point Neighborhood of Washington, D.C. The newly announced venue is the brand’s first location in the D.C.-metropolitan area and the fifth location for Brooklyn Bowl as a whole, which broke ground in 2009 in the neighborhood of Williamsburg, in New York City.

The latest iteration of the beloved establishment features a 1,200-person capacity concert venue cozied in a 38,000 square feet space. Live Nation will program the venue’s music, and the location will boast 14 bowling lanes, an exceptional craft bar and a menu curated by New York City’s Blue Ribbon Restaurant Group.

In regards to today’s announcement, Peter Shapiro, Brooklyn Bowl co-founder, shared: “We’re really thrilled to see Brooklyn Bowl be part of this great development in the District. After bringing Brooklyn Bowl to two new locations in 2021, we know that the time is right to bring this innovative concept to the D.C. area.”

Brooklyn Bowl D.C.’s musical programming will offer something for everyone by welcoming multi-genre national touring artists such as New Orleans brass bands, hip hop legends, world music stars, dance parties and Bob Marley-inspired “Rock and Roll Playhouse” weekend matinees for families.

The venue was also thoughtfully designed to accommodate private events of various sizes and will be available to rent following its launch. Once open, Brooklyn Bowl D.C. will join Brooklyn Bowls in Williamsburg, N.Y., Las Vegas, Nev., Nashville, Tenn. and Philadelphia.

The exact opening date for Brooklyn Bowl D.C. has not been finalized. To learn more about the Brooklyn Bowl, visit its official website.
