Phish Fenway Poster: 2009

To celebrate Phish’s two night run at the historic Fenway Park, the Boston Red Sox have announced Phish Night on Monday, June 24.

In the official Phish Night announcement, the team challenges fans to “Step into the Fenway” – a tongue-in-cheek reference to Phish’s “Tweezer,” for the uninitiated.

The first 1,500 phans who order tickets are also set to receive “a limited-edition pennant designed by Phish to commemorate this special event.”

Phish will return to Fenway the following week, on July 5 and 6, marking their first appearance at the ballpark since their debut, one-off performance on 5/31/2009.

The Red Sox will play the Chicago White Sox on Phish Night, and they hope fans will “get this show on the road and cheer on our favorite band and team!” Local cover band Pardon Me, Doug will also be on hand to perform a pregame, Phish-centric set on the nearby Jersey Street.
