Bluebird Music Festival Announce 2025 Lineup: Bruce Hornsby, Watchhouse, More
Bluebird Music Festival has announced that Bruce Hornsby, Watchhouse and The Tallest Man On Earth will be its 2025 headliners. Scheduled for April 18-20, 2025, the seventh iteration of the bluegrass-centric staging will occur at Boulder, Colo.’s Macky Auditorium. The weekend promises four distinct events over three days, with a special Sunday double-header.
On Friday, April 18, legendary pianist and performer Bruce Hornsby is set to kick off the jam-packed weekend alongside former The Fray member Isaac Slade for the Opening Night Gala. The Gala, which is set to feature a number of to-be-announced special guests and announcements, is available by invitation only or with weekend passes and will be made available to fans who purchase tickets now. Saturday, April 19’s bill promises sets from Hornsby again, as well as a pair of North Carolina ensembles, Hiss Golden Messenger and Mipso.
For the festival’s final day, Sunday, April 20, fans can expect afternoon performances from folk duo Watchouse, Swedish singer-songwriter The Tallest Man on Earth, 2021 NPR Tiny Desk Winners Neffy and Hiss Golden Messenger again. Watchhouse and The Tallest Man on Earth will return in the evening with an additional set from Colorado’s Wrenn Van Band.
“When so much of this country is possibly more divided than ever, this festival continues to bring all types of people together,” said founder Travis Albright, thanking festival goers for their support of “the world’s biggest living room” in a time where live music is especially crucial. In further pursuit of encouraging arts events and education, Bluebird Music Festival will also benefit the Future Arts Foundation as well as various Colorado youth music programs.
