Arctic Monkeys Announce 2023 U.K. and Ireland Dates with The Hives and The Mysterines

Over the weekend, Arctic Monkeys delivered a set of dates that will see the Alex Turner-led ensemble jaunt across the U.K. and Ireland next spring. The group shared their plans for the run, which will support their forthcoming LP, The Car. The tour will begin on May 29 at Bristol’s Ashton Gate Stadium.

After opening up their run in Bristol, Arctic Monkeys will continue across their native United Kingdom, making stops in Coventry, Manchester and Middlesbrough, before a gig on June 7 at Carrow Road Stadium in the town of Norwich.

From there, they’ll pop up for two consecutive nights of music on June 9 and 10 at Sheffield’s Hillsborough Park, prior to a performance at Swansea.com Stadium in Swansea, Wales, on June 12. Then, Arctic Monkeys will descend upon Southhampton, U.K.’s The Ageas Bowl, before they arrive in London for a two-night sweep at Emirates Stadium on June 16 and 17.

Next up, the band will make their way to Dublin for a show at Marlay Park on June 20, before the tour ender on June 25 at Bellahouston Park in Glasgow, Scotland. On the road, the group will receive support from special guests, The Hives and The Mysterines.

Turner hasn’t only been planning dates for the Arctic Monkeys; the frontman has also been keeping busy by serving as lead singer for a wedding celebration of some close friends over the weekend. He was joined by Michael Shuman, Warpaint’s Stella Mozgawa, and former Wires on Fire singer Evan Weiss for a sweet rendition of Dion’s “Only You Know.”
