Allman Betts Family Revival announced 2024 tour dates and the initial lineup for the 8th annual cycle. The impending run will continue the time-honored tradition of celebrating the music and esteemed legacies of Gregg Allman, Dickey Betts, and The Allman Brothers. On the road, the ensemble will visit familiar cities and first-time locations such as Minneapolis, Seattle, and Kansas City.

The tour is slated to commence on Nov. 30 at The Arcada Theater in St. Charles, Ill. It will set forth the band’s two-set concert trajectory, which includes an initial frame of music derived from 1970s Duane Allman-era pulls and a follow-up consisting of 1990s comeback tunes. After night one, the group will traverse the Midwest ahead of East Coast appearances, including an evening at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, N.Y., on Dec. 6, before their Beacon Theater follow-up (Dec. 7). 

Led by The Allman Betts Band, the lineup will also feature accompaniment from lauded industry favorites Luther Dickinson (North Mississippi Allstars), Cody Dickinson (North Mississippi Allstars), Jimmy Hall (Jeff Beck, Wet Willie), Lindsay Lou, Lamar Williams Jr., Alex Orbison (son of Roy Orbison), Jackie Greene, Larry McCray and Anders Osborne. Sierra Hull, Grace Bowers, G. Love and Jake Shimabukuro. 

After the ensemble’s East Coast close out on Dec. 8, Allman Betts Family Revival and company will dip down to the Southern region of the U.S., which includes a night at the esteemed Ryman Auditorium in  Nashville, Tenn., on Dec. 16, just before an ensuing pick up of West Coast dates. On the other side of the country, the band will perform in Seattle. They will jump back to Denver on Dec. 18 before following up in Reno, Nev., and inevitably closing the 2024 tour in San Francisco (Dec. 21). 

In tandem with the tour announcement, Devon Allman shared, “We are so excited to continue onto the eighth year of this wonderful celebration of our father’s music. It’s a high honor to play this music with our talented friends. With the number 8 also being the symbol for infinity, we want the fans to know we’re doing our part to help this music live forever in a live format. We hope to continue to take them back in time.” 

Duane Betts projected, “With this being the first Revival since my father’s passing, it means even more to me to play this great music with family and friends. We can’t wait to see everyone out on the road!”
