On June 3, the star-studded Love Rocks benefit returned to New York City, broadcasting live from the Beacon Theatre via FANS.live.

The famous faces at the event extended beyond the music, as performers Jeff Garlin and Michael Imperioli acted as hosts – Bill Murray also made headlines when he surprised viewers with a drum duel alongside Pedrito Martinez.

The benefit was a return-to-form for live music in NYC, from a sneering “Foxy Lady,” featuring ZZ Top’s Billy Gibbons and sacred steel master Robert Randolph, to Grace Potter and Jon Bon Jovi going back-and-forth on “You Give Love A Bad Name.”

Naturally, there was also plenty of Warren Haynes action – namely on Marshall Tucker Band’s “Can’t You See” (with Bernie Williams and Randolph), the Allman Brothers’ “Old Friend” (acoustic) and Leon Russell’s “Delta Lady” (with Potter and Martinez).
